Lots of happy contractors and sad "hunters." On a more relaxing note, for everyone we are at war with, we have recently acquired some new friends in the alliance. A few hours ago there was a distress signal sent out from our primary mining system. Somehow an intruder got past Structure Kaun and his sidekick Commanda Panda who were both doing NAUGHTY things in DEEP safes. They were completely blind sided by this brave pilot who was determined to lay waste to our honey hole. However our new comrades were on point and swiftly eliminated the threat. Mercy was shown! Every now and again we feel it is necessary to test our power projection against other praised and well known organizations to see how we match up. Although a few of us in Mentally Assured Destruction have been around the block a few times we felt our new alliance needed the test. War Report As you can see in the war report above our methods of mercenary work have been very effective against Marmite's "stationary approach." Yes we still have a few more souls to touch with our blitzing attacks but for the most part I feel we have made our point. Some mercenaries may provide a better "wow factor" than us but their flaws outweigh their pro's. These flaws range from specific timezone activity to simply a failure of adaptation to get a kill. Some would rather logi up and play it safe with resists than to take chances and go for the death blow. Not us! We would rather use any means necessary to get a kill just to make sure our client(s) stay happy. Relentless is a good word to describe our war machine. The only time we judge, especially myself, is when I/we experience their worth first hand. Every player that comes through our doors is weighed on their politeness, how they conduct themselves under hopeless situations, to even their quality as a person. Obviously we look for other things but we are mostly in it for the laughs. If they suck at eve, its more of a challenge for the elitists in our ranks to cover for them! :) Since our creation we have always stayed true to a specific code; if you leave on good terms(along with a mail) then you will always be welcome back. Consequently yes there are a select few players in Eve that are blacklisted from joining us but the names are few. HOWEVER, to name a few players that ARE welcome are as follows(may surprise you): TheWidower, Donnic, Nikaroo, Scandor, Yendaj, MirrorGod, Kai86, Fogg, DoctorPer, Yuller, Tora, Culo, Ourbreak friends, PL friends, NC. friends, 99.9% of Ivy League's ex/members, and etc. We are a fun lot that always looks forward to flying with other FUN people. Example: In our last video we split damage at the beginning to confuse their logi. They had a slow response time and appeared to put all of their reppers on every broadcast(instead of just running 1 or 2 reppers) every time. This allowed us to eliminate the thorax and then push one guardian off the field which is visible in the video(he jumped out in hull). Once one guardian was pushed off we then primaried the legion and you can hear us on comms saying he will be capped out soon. Logi stopped repping, legion died. Then we moved on to primaring the lone guardians. You can clearly hear our FC say that 1 logi is weaker which comes from us testing their tanks earlier. You see in small numbers you have to be smart. Just because we primary someone at first doesn't mean we want to kill them first. Fog of war tends to freak most people out. Kills Battle Reports: Mateber- We warped our TFI to a belt to rat and see what would come. Local took the bait and warped a sac, legion, and zealot to get point. Once they aggressed our TFI pointed them so consequently we jumped in and initiated warp. Unfortunately they ran so we got sad. As hope for a fight faded we began to leave local but our mysterious loki pilot warped to the sun just to "see what they would do." To his surprise, at the sun, a rattlesnake was already there. Our loki got point and we all piled back in to fight. What we didn't expect was the rattlesnake to be ultra tank(already knew they had great tanks) and not die after 3 minutes of 2,000+ dps. As the fight went on local built up and the field started to flood with more and more hostiles. The TFI's death occurred when the enemies geddon landed on zero of him and his neuts were mid cycle. Their geddon got the jump and had free reign to cap out our TFI to seal his fate. Once our TFI went down we went on a killing spree bagging the sac, legion, geddon, and blackbird before leaving the field. More would have died but a 30 man BS/Cruiser/t3 fleet said otherwise. Resbroko- Omen Navy Issue died to a symptom called "failed to run away with fleet." Hagilur- It was brought to our attention that this Gate camp was freely aggressing all who entered local. We have this great rule that we came up with after a few recruits lost very expensive ships to war targets. New recruits are not allowed to fly ships and/or pods worth more than 100 mill isk until approved to do so. No sh!t, bads will always find a way to die so if they can find a way to hang themselves with a 100 mill ship then PLEASE DO. I'd much rather put in overtime to fix a 100 million isk loss than a 1 billion isk loss. To include with this topic a little bit of humility; yes we all lose ships in PoH and we should! In Eve some of the best lessons are learned through dying and fortunately we commend people for going balls deep on a target. As we were chasing them most of my fleet was able to catch up along with my scouts to look +1/-1. We called for our tackle to snag one, since they were doing fleet warps, so he did(a Vexor). Since I'm in a battleship I'm still 3 jumps behind considering my lovely warp speed but I still have faith and continue to burn hoping that their fleet will turn around and fight. They had superior dps so i was already worried. Low and behold as I entered warp in another long warp Ammarian system local began to swell well over 100 being all wartargets. I called on comms that I was dead before landing on the gate. When I landed my overview was bright red so I figured I'd troll a little bit to get some of them aggressed in order to prevent an entire fleet whoring on my mail. I let my rattlesnake get to half shield and then jumped into the remaining 54 on the other side(they had 110+ people) to die quietly. From what I know both Ivy League fleets were heading to the same destination but had different starting points. Unfortunately for me if I was 1 minute faster or 1 minute slower this would have never happened. I'd rather be lucky than good so props to Ivy League for getting a good kill. No mails were received so I assumed this was business and to expect no mercy. The last time someone assisted against us After giving a heroic speech to the alliance explaining that we were surrounded the war drums began to beat and the watchlists started to form. Feeling sad that the knight in shining armour was nowhere to be seen the boys and myself began to lurk in the shadows stalking our original target to remind them that they will NEVER BE SAFE. Day 1: shuttle/pod and mackinaw/pod down. No mercs in sight Day 2: Vexor, drake, vexor/pod down. No mercs in sight Day 3-5: Neither target nor mercs undocked Day 6: Retreiver/pod x2 down. No mercs in sight Day 7 Morning: ORCA DOWN. No mercs in sight Day 7 Night: As the war was ending the mercs that assisted against us began to return to their daily routine and move about. Seeing this as a blessing we formed up hoping to involve them in this war that they so easily chose to enter. With precision everything went as planned and the good samaritans fell into our traps.
